Developed by TheSafeKorea, Safedome is a passive fire barrier designed to prevent and contain the spread of fires in electric and internal combustion vehicles from the moment they ignite. Its dome-shaped structure, made of fire- and heat-resistant materials, enables rapid containment and facilitates smooth follow-up response. When a vehicle fire is detected, the mobile version of Safedome—if positioned within a 100-meter radius—can reach the burning vehicle within one minute. Both fixed and mobile units deploy in under 10 seconds, securing the firefighting golden time. This rapid response allows firefighters to manage the situation without direct access to the vehicle, enhancing safety and efficiency. Unlike fire blankets that require close contact with the vehicle—potentially increasing the risk of explosion due to trapped gases— Safedome uses a frame-based structure that encloses the vehicle at a distance. This design slows the buildup of internal pressure and allows gases to vent, reducing explosion risk. Additionally, while fire blankets typically require three or more personnel for deployment, Safedome can be operated by a single person, minimizing both manpower and exposure to danger.

Beyond securing the firefighting golden time, Safedome also plays a critical role in extinguishing fires after enclosure. It allows direct water spraying inside the dome, with built-in sprinkler and nozzle systems embedded in the frame. Specifically, it features 69 upper sprinkler points and 48 lower nozzle points—totaling 117 spray outlets—delivering powerful cooling and extinguishing performance. Additionally, its optimized dome structure is engineered to prevent thermal runaway and explosions, minimizing risks during fire suppression.
